Summertime Starts this Friday at Quassy’s Splash Away Bay

Waterpark Opens Memorial Day Weekend!

 

Quassy Amusement Park and Waterpark kicks off the summer with the opening of Splash Away Bay waterpark this Friday, May 23, launching a new season of family fun just ahead of Memorial Day weekend.

Guests can enjoy Splash Away Bay from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. The waterpark will then operate from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily throughout Memorial Day weekend, Saturday through Monday.

“Opening Splash Away Bay is always a highlight of the year,” said Eric Anderson, president of Quassy. “It signals the start of summer, and we’re proud to continue our tradition of for families to enjoy generation after generation.”

Since launching its first water attraction in 2003, Saturation Station, Quassy has grown Splash Away Bay into a signature destination featuring high-speed waterslides, interactive splash zones, and a scenic beach along Lake Quassapaug.

Alongside waterpark thrills, guests can also experience the park’s brand-new Aladdin Wave Swinger ride. This ornate and colorful attraction lifts riders into the air with a wave-like, rotating motion. The new ride joins Quassy’s lineup of more than two dozen rides and attractions designed for guests of all ages.  Another brand new ride, Crazy 8 Family roller coaster, is scheduled to open in July.

The park is also currently hiring for summer positions, including lifeguards, ride operators and guest services staff. Quassy offers flexible schedules, competitive pay, and a vibrant outdoor work environment.
