Quassy Amusement Park Calls on the Public to Name its New Ride

Quassy Amusement Park & Waterpark is calling on its loyal fans and community to make history by naming the park’s newest family coaster, set to debut this April. As part of an exciting start to the 2025 season, Quassy is introducing two new rides—and one of them will adorn the name submitted by a contestant.
 
The new spinning family coaster features a thrilling figure-eight track design with cars that rotate as they glide along the course, creating a one-of-a-kind experience for guests of all ages. With its colorful, Quassy-exclusive custom blue and yellow paint job, this ride is destined to become a fan favorite. Quassy is inviting the public to get involved by submitting creative name ideas in the “Name the Ride Contest.”
 
“We’re beyond excited to introduce this new attraction to our lineup,” said Eric Anderson, President of Quassy Amusement Park. “Naming the coaster is a special way for our community to leave their mark on the park, and we can’t wait to see what creativity awaits us.”
 
Here’s how anyone over 18 years of age can participate:

The deadline to submit your idea is Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. A panel of judges will review submissions, and the winning name will be announced on Monday, March 10, 2025.
Whoever submits the winning name will receive official naming rights to the new coaster, exclusive access to the ride’s grand opening event and four combo passes to Quassy Amusement & Waterpark, plus free parking.
 
Alongside the new coaster, Quassy is also unveiling the Aladdin Wave Swinger, an intricately handcrafted swing ride imported from the Netherlands designed by Wooddesign Amusement Rides. Replacing the Yo-Yo swing, the Aladdin Wave Swinger will serve as a stunning new centerpiece of the park, dazzling guests with its ornate design.
“This is shaping up to be one of the most exciting years in Quassy’s history,” Anderson added. “We’re eager to see our guests’ reactions to both of these incredible new rides.”
