Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc. Executive Vice President Appointed as President of the Executive Board of OCTO Organization

Gateway Ticketing Systems®, the world leader in ticketing, admission control, and revenue-generating solutions within the attractions industry, celebrates Executive Vice President and Head of Product Tom Chiarella’s recent appointment to President of the Executive Board of the OCTO Organization.

OCTO, a non-profit organization, is redefining connectivity standards in the travel experiences sector with its open-source API specification. Designed to streamline the integration of tours, activities, and attractions, the OCTO specification facilitates seamless connections between booking systems, resellers, and agencies, ultimately enhancing the customer journey. As an independent and transparent association, OCTO is dedicated to unifying an industry often fragmented by incompatible systems. The initiative promises reduced development costs and enhanced market reach for participants.
