Fright Fest Awakens at Six Flags New England

Six Flags New England is bringing back Fright Fest presented by SNICKERS®, the region's premier Halloween event. Featuring haunted mazes, immersive scare zones, live entertainment, world-class roller coasters and family-friendly fall attractions, Fright Fest returns beginning Sept. 26 and runs weekends and select days through Nov. 1. Guests can experience one of the largest Halloween attractions in Massachusetts with thrills and scares for every age.
 

Fright Fest features more than 20 Halloween attractions, including five haunted mazes: Nightmares, Terror Tales, Slasher Circus 3D, Midnight Mansion, and Camp Killamore. Guests can also navigate seven immersive scare zones located throughout Six Flags New England, where monsters emerge from the fog and terrifying creatures roam the streets. New for 2026, Carnival of Chaos debuts as the park's newest Halloween scare zone, transforming the midway into a twisted carnival filled with deranged clowns, freak show performers and unsettling surprises. From post-apocalyptic wastelands to demon-infested streets and sinister carnival grounds, Fright Fest delivers one of the most intense haunted experiences in New England.
 

In addition to haunted attractions and scare zones, Fright Fest offers a full lineup of live Halloween entertainment, including Midnight Uprising, The Awakening, and Mort's Used Coffins. Returning by popular demand, Love at First Fright combines music, comedy and family-friendly fun as a group of social media influencers encounters a cast of mischievous monsters during their quest for viral fame. These live shows provide the perfect complement to the haunted houses, scare zones and thrill rides that make Fright Fest a must-visit Halloween event in Massachusetts.
 

For scare-free family fun, Kids Boo Fest returns to Six Flags New England on Saturday, Sept. 26. This daytime event is filled with Halloween activities and entertainment including a Trick-or-Treat trail, hay maze, pumpkin patch, crafts, Halloween costume showcase, and other not-so-scary experiences. Kids Boo Fest runs weekends and select days through Sunday, Nov. 1.
 

Six Flags New England is committed to maintaining a place where families and friends can come together to enjoy a one-of-a-kind park full of fun experiences and immersive entertainment. After 6:00 p.m. Fright Fest is not recommended for children 12 and under. Guests aged 17 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted into the park.
 

2027 Season Passes are available now and provide guests with immediate access to the remainder of the 2026 season, including Fright Fest and Kids Boo Fest. Passholders can enjoy unlimited visits, exclusive benefits and the best value available for both the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
