International Ride Training Ride Camp 2023
International Ride Training is hosting its Annual Safety School, also known as Ride Camp, at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina, from February 5-9, 2023. Ride Camp is led by an impressive faculty with decades of real-world experience. These “Ride Camp Counselors,” as they are known, represent various parks located in the United States and Canada. There are also many guest speakers in a four-day, highly immersive, educational, and training experience focused on ride safety and operations best practices.
This year Ride Camp starts on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 1 pm for New Instructors - Returning Instructors, and other Ride Camp Attendees begin at 8 am on Monday, Feb. 6. Ride Camp ends for all on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 12pm.
Ride Camp attendees, or Campers, work intensively in the classroom and hands-on training using the park’s rides to learn and brush up on ride safety training techniques.
