Quassy Amusement Park Celebrates Local Hispanic Heritage with New Event

Quassy Amusement Park and Waterpark is excited to announce the launch of a new tradition: Hispanic Heritage Month every weekend starting September 7 through September 29. This celebration highlights the rich Hispanic culture that has long been a vibrant part of the New England community.

Hispanic culture has deep roots in the region, and its presence continues to grow, with the Hispanic population in Middlebury increasing by 16% and by 19.5% in Connecticut since 2020, according to the 2023 U.S. Census Quick Facts. Quassy’s new event aims to celebrate the rich traditions and vibrant culture that are central to the local community.

During Hispanic Heritage Month, guests can purchase All Day Ride Wristbands for $21.99 plus tax when bought online using the promo code HHM24. This special offer is valid weekends during regular operation hours, allowing families and groups to enjoy Quassy’s wide array of attractions at a discounted rate. Groups of 20 or more can save an additional $3 per person as well.

In addition to Hispanic Heritage Month, Quassy is gearing up for its long-standing Oktoberfest celebration, set for September 21-22. Now in its 33rd year, Oktoberfest at Quassy is a cherished tradition, offering authentic German food, live music, and festive activities for the whole family.

Quassy continues to evolve while honoring its rich history, creating new traditions and events that celebrate the communities it serves.
